Clients who are eligible through Medicaid for non-medical personal attendant services will receive assistance with various daily activities of living, including:
- Personal hygiene assistance (including assistance with bathing, toileting and grooming)
- Transfer and ambulation assistance throughout the home (e.g., to or from a bedroom, bathroom, or wheelchair)
- Home management tasks (including cleaning and laundry)
- Assistance with light range-of-motion or muscle-strengthening exercises
- Assistance with eating, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
- Transportation
- Bathing and showering
- Assistance with dressing
- Assistance with self-administered medications
